S.I.G.L.E. Program
The S.I.G.L.E. Program—formerly known as Aftercare Program—was officially launched in 2022 to support former residents of Texas Girls and Boys Ranch. For many years, this care had been provided informally whenever a young adult needed help. Today, the S.I.G.L.E. Program offers counseling, family coaching, TBRI® training, referrals, and community support to former clients.
The program is named in honor of founder Faye Sigle and stands for
Supportive Intervention for Growth and Lifelong Empowerment.
When Foster Care Ends, Adulthood Begins Overnight.
No safety net. No parent to call.
No one to teach them how to turn on utilities, grocery shop on a budget, or navigate the responsibilities of adult life.
Some young adults age out of foster care alone.
Others experience disrupted or failed adoptions.
Some families are on the edge of CPS involvement and simply need support before everything unravels.

The S.I.G.L.E. Program provides housing support, food assistance, life-skills guidance, and steady, relationship-based care to youth and young adults navigating these critical transitions.
Because growing up without parents is hard.
And no young person should have to face adulthood alone.
The S.I.G.L.E. Program is built on lasting relationships that provide guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support long after a young person leaves our care.
The S.I.G.L.E. Program: A Commitment That Lasts a Lifetime
For many young adults leaving care, there is no family waiting on the other side. Through the S.I.G.L.E. Program, Texas Girls and Boys Ranch becomes that family.
Founder Faye Sigle has long believed that support should not end when a youth leaves care. “These young adults don’t have family,” she shares. “We become their family.” Whether helping with college applications, job interviews, medical appointments, or simply offering guidance, the S.I.G.L.E. Program ensures young adults are never navigating life alone.
What sets the S.I.G.L.E. Program apart is relationship. “We build personal relationships with each young adult,” Faye explains. “We give them our time, resources, and patience.” Because those relationships are strong, the team can meet young adults exactly where they are—providing counseling, practical resources, and steady encouragement.
For Faye, the most meaningful part of this work has always been the relationships. “We are a phone call away, no matter the time of day,” she says. “We give them a hand up, not a hand down.” The goal is independence, confidence, and long-term success.
Looking ahead, Faye hopes the S.I.G.L.E. Program’s legacy will be clear: that young adults know they are not just part of a system—they are deeply cared for. “We walk through life events with them. We celebrate all of them.”
And when asked what she is most proud of after years of service, her answer is simple: seeing young adults succeed and reach their goals. Because at the heart of the S.I.G.L.E. Program is something lasting—relationships that empower growth and lifelong success.
Faye continues to serve as a Resource Navigator in the S.I.G.L.E. Program.
