Turning Point is a specialized collaboration between STAR Health/Superior Medicaid and Texas Girls & Boys Ranch. The program offers urgent mental-health care for foster children and their foster families. Turning Point provides crisis intervention and acute stabilization with the goal of family-preservation. This innovative program is designed to help foster families support their children with a goal of avoiding unnecessary hospitalization.
